Well thats the weekend gone again

So thats another one over with then, thankfully this one had plenty of excitment going for it on Saturday, starting with a cycle ride with the kids, yes me on a bike !!! who would have thought it.... we cycled about 4 miles to Grandma and Grandads, the kids did really well considering it was their first time out on the roads, well ok cycle paths..... Surprisingly made it to Grandma and Grandads just in time to watch the United v Liverpool game on the telly (and to tuck into some bacon butties!!)What a fantastic game, with the mighty Mancs winning 1-0 to the sorry scousers !! one of whom in his wisdom thought it would be a good idea to throw his phone at Rooney.... er hello, its got all your numbers in it !!! dense or what....

Saturday evening saw the family get together for the 4th annual 'Rita Gilmour' Ten pin bowling competition, we (I say we it was me!!), had the misfortune to win last year and therefore ended up organising this year, still managed to come second (despite trying to lose!) to Tony, who hadnt figured out the best way to lose like the rest of us.... So the Rea's get to organise next year, after the bowling back to mums for Pizza, and a top evening was rounded off by putting the world to rights as usual....

Sunday, is and shall for evermore be a day of rest (well thats my excuse anyway!) so a gentle wander around Reading was called for, before retiring for a Sunday Dinner of homemade Chinese......
